Choosing a school is about finding a place where your child can feel loved, learn with confidence and become more independent. At The Young U Montessori School, our loving and professional team guides children through purposeful activities in a carefully prepared Montessori environment.
Our Montessori program continues throughout the year, with Toddler’s House for ages 1 to 3 and Children’s House for ages 3 to 6. We are located near Jackson Memorial Hospital and UHealth, making it easier for families who live or work in the Health District to stay close.

Ages 1 to 3
A nurturing classroom where young children practice independence, build language and learn to care for themselves and their surroundings. Our teachers guide each child according to their readiness and development.
Children’s House
Ages 3 to 6
A Montessori environment where children build language and early math skills, explore nature and practice everyday tasks. Hands-on activities help children develop concentration, confidence and care for others.
How is Montessori different?
Children learn at different paces. In Montessori, teachers introduce activities individually or in small groups, then guide children as they choose meaningful work, practice skills and explore new interests. With time to grow and support along the way, children build independence, confidence and a love of learning.

Our programs serve children ages 1 to 6. Toddler’s House is for ages 1 to 3, and Children’s House is for ages 3 to 6. We will discuss your child’s readiness and the appropriate placement with you.
