Why we chose the Health District

We chose Miami’s Health District with working families in mind. For doctors, nurses and hospital team members, having their child close by can make a busy day feel a little easier. We wanted to offer that sense of connection through a caring Montessori school where children feel at home and families feel welcome. Today, that same spirit guides how we welcome every member of The Young U Family.

 

Our family’s own experience with Montessori shaped the kind of school we wanted to create. Our son had a wonderful preschool experience and entered first grade well prepared. His experience helped us see what Montessori could mean for other children and families. Today, The Young U welcomes families from the medical community and beyond.

 

Our Montessori approach

Montessori education gives children an active role in their learning. Teachers prepare the environment, introduce materials and observe each child’s progress. Children have opportunities to practice, repeat and discover, building independence and concentration over time.

 

A partnership with your family

Sharing your child’s routines, interests and experiences helps us work together. We welcome your questions and your part in the conversation about your child’s growth.
